So here's the deal ...HOLLA BACK!!!!!!!! lol ;)

So here's the deal - your newfound napping should not be a guilty pleasure... it is your RIGHT as a pregnant woman!! You are growing a BABY as we speak and if your body needs extra rest, then serve it up! I love that you are embracing the physicality of your pregnancy even more so this time, and part of that is most certainly giving yourself permission to rest more this time around. After all, this time you also have a healthy, happy, active toddler to contend with as well. So REST REST REST! You are growing life, and that makes you the holder of miracles. A regular nap is the very least you should do for yourself. :)

And I think you already nailed it on the head - what once was, is now evolving. Nap time used to be full of tasks, errands, chores, me-time, etc. Allow it to evolve - it's going to, whether or not you want it to, at least in my experience. You'll still get most of the things done... maybe not as regularly, sometimes not as well, but then again if it doesn't get done, it's probably not so important, at least for now.

That beauty of life, always keeping us on our toes - which also begs the argument for resting when you can! :)Courtney Collinshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06853335729996945528noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-532412844149185751.post-402196737115453452012-08-02T09:31:12.430-04:002012-08-02T09:31:12.430-04:00Sweet sweet SMJ, I am so happy to hear that you ha...Sweet sweet SMJ, I am so happy to hear that you have embraced naps...I think they're awesome!! And more importantly, I am so happy that you are embracing this time & NOT shaming yourself or feeling guilty for it. As you said, you will probably have dozens of recalibrations taking place over the coming months/year....but as always I know you will do it with grace & good humor. xoxoAlison Ohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05606340681036836264noreply@blogger.com
